The software and graphics are not among Pacific Poker’s main merits. This is surely the greatest site for those who want to get all the fun and craze the poker has to offer without risking much of their own money. The low limit range is $.05 and $.10.

Site Design and Software
These are not the strongest points here. First of all, the software is a little bit too slow, despite the several improvements made to fix that. This, however, can be especially good for the poker newbies, giving them more time to think and analyze what cards the opponents might have. The graphics may sometimes seem too flat and you feel odd when playing with empty chairs. Only the players’ names, but no the avatars are displayed.
A nice thing about Pacific Poker is that you can choose either to simply download the software or use the no-download Java-applet version. Note that the downloadable software normally works only under Windows platform. In case with the Java version you do not need to download anything, just click it and play!
